BOYSETSFIRE

WHILE A NATION SLEEPS…

(End Hits)

Delaware mob mosh their way back into the spotlight.

7/10

Boysetsfire have emerged from a brief hiatus with their first record in seven years, and although they are rated mainly by a handful of contemporaries during post-hardcore’s heyday of the early 00’s, they serve as a pleasant reminder of what the scene was capable of producing. There are times where they may sound fragile and struggle to hit the right notes, however the amount of effort on display is relentless. See ‘Phone Call’ and ‘Wolves Of Babylon’ for further evidence. This may not sway a new generation of fans, but they still prove the chemistry never completely disappeared.
